MICHAEL WREDE - FOUNDER

Michael is a senior banking professional with over 30 years’ experience with leading banks in Investment Banking and Private Banking in the UK, Switzerland, Europe and the Middle East, having worked in senior positions at ABN AMRO, Credit Suisse, National Bank of Abu Dhabi and at First Abu Dhabi Bank. He headed the UK and Jersey Private Banking Activities for ABN AMRO, was a member of the Private Banking management team at Credit Suisse in the UK, and he was the CEO, Head of Private Banking and Country Head Switzerland of National Bank of Abu Dhabi and at First Abu Dhabi Bank.

Michael is an entrepreneurial and results focused professional with an international network and strong industry and product knowledge across Asset Management, Corporate & Investment Banking, and International and Onshore Private Banking. He has been involved in start-ups in the investment management and family office sectors.

Michael spent over 10 years in Investment Banking focusing on transaction origination and execution, before moving into Private Banking. He has 20+ years experience advising UHNW individuals and their families. 

​

He has advised clients in the financial, real estate, asset management, IP, media and fintech sectors on a wide range of matters including strategy, corporate restructuring, business development, M&A, fund raising (equity & debt), public and private market investments and family governance.

Michael has a Law degree from King's College, London, and an MBA from Cranfield University.
